Hello, friends.

Please join us tomorrow, when the Wednesdays on the Green fun continues with the fabulous Tracy Walker. Tracy was honored this year with the prestigious Duncanson Artist in Residence at the Taft Museum, AND voted Best Local Musician by CityBeatreaders – don’t miss her gorgeous songs! And we have a special treat this week – beginning at 6:15, violinist Heidi Yenney will bring some of her young students (ages 6-11) from North Avondale Montessori, where she teaches using the Suzuki method. Early birds can enjoy a prelude performance by these budding violinists.

In addition to fabulous music, kids will be making walking foil folks this week in the kids art area, and we’ll have on-site snacks available from the Habanero Burrito Truck and Street Pops. As always, you’re also welcome to bring your own picnic.

We’re also absolutely thrilled to officially welcome two new CCAC staff members, thanks to generous support from The Greater Cincinnati Foundation:

Margo Pierce has joined our team as our new events manager – Margo brings a wealth of experience in events and communications, a real passion for CCAC, and is excited to help CCAC grow the private events we host in our space (like weddings, corporate meetings, birthday parties and celebrations).

Missy Miller, who has been our outstanding program coordinator through the Public Allies program this year, will join our team in a permanent staff role as of July 16.

You can read all about Margo and Missy here – and I’ll look forward to introducing them to you, if you’ve not already met. We are profoundly grateful and excited to reach this milestone of growing our small but mighty team, and are thrilled to see what we can all accomplish together!

Can’t wait to see you Wednesday,

Ruth E. Dickey

Executive Director

P.S. July 4 is next week, and it may be a holiday, but the Wednesdays on the Green fun will continue with The Tempers at 7 p.m.!
