Calling all artists! Do you have a project you’ve been wanting to do, but you need a little extra cash to make it possible? The Artist Supper Club is here for you. The Supper Club is a quarterly potluck dinner where artists pitch ideas, everyone votes on the project they most want to see accomplished, and a grant of no less than $500 is awarded to the proposal with the most votes. It’s just that simple to find funding for your project.
To participate, all you need to do is type up a couple of paragraphs about you project (please limit proposals to around half a page), bring a dish to share for dinner, and $10. During dinner everyone will review the submissions and vote on the project they want to see realized. Once the votes are tallied, the winning proposal is funded.
Make sure your proposal meets the following basic criteria: 1. It must be accomplished within 3 months; 2. It must have a community benefit; 3. It must have an artistic component. If you don’t have a project, you’re invited to come and join us for a potluck dinner with some of the most interesting people around, and you can help decide what project gets funded!
