Dan Newman Studio Presents:
Art by “MYRIX”
“Archetypal Faces”
Born in Kentucky and now living in Cincinnati, Ohio, Myrix is a self-taught artist, working in pencil and charcoal. His talent for creating images of hard-working men has not gone unnoticed. Galleries have shown his distinctly masculine images to audiences in locations from San Francisco to Provincetown, from Knoxville to Rapid City, South Dakota.
His latest passion, portrait drawing, is a series of portraits, featuring different looks of men. He is looking to correspond with photographers and models for source material, because each portrait begins as a real person and all are one of a kind original drawings.

I have known Dr.Dan Newman and Myrix for many years. His astonishing creativity, together with passion for excellence makes him a most talented artist. These excellent compilations of the human face and body are evidently desirable in any field of the arts. I wish him well and the wonderful success he has a right to. He is the most Human of human becomings, a multitasker, compassionate man (it shows in his presentations) and I am honoured to be a friend. It is important that his kind of work is expanded as it complements the other professionnal work with which he is involved. Well done Dan.
Is there a way to contact the artist regarding his paintings? I loved seeing them and would like to see more…
