The Carnegie, located at 1028 Scott Boulevard in Covington, announced today two new updates for its galleries – new exhibition hours and the addition of gallery attendants.
Beginning Dec. 13, 2103, new hours for The Carnegie Galleries will be noon – 5pm, Wednesday – Saturday during exhibitions. The galleries will be closed Sunday – Tuesday.
In addition to the revised hours, gallery attendants will now welcome arts patrons who visit the galleries during the run of exhibitions. These individuals will be available to answer questions and to provide helpful information regarding shows and the work on display.
“The goal of these measures is to improve the visitor experience in our galleries,” said Matt Distel, Exhibitions Director at The Carnegie. “We are expanding the Saturday hours which is the most popular day for visitors to the gallery. And by having gallery attendants in the exhibitions we hope that visitors will take advantage of increased access to information about the work on view.”
